God the Son

We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God.  He became man, setting aside His Power and Glory, and took upon Him the form of a servant.  He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, in order that He might reveal God, fulfill prophecy, and redeem sinful man.  (Luke 1:35)

Since man brought sin into this world, through the deception of Satan, only God could redeem man of this sin.  And thus, Jesus paid the price, as a perfect sacrifice for our sin.

We believe He accomplished our salvation through his sacrifice on the cross, His burial, and bodily resurrection.  He is the only means of our salvation (John 14:6, Romans 3:24-26)
